Vanessa Jo Bahr walks participants through the origins of her creative practice, discovery of printmaking and initial interpretations of the medium. It will expand upon how she has made a career as an independent artist and an educator within academia. The talk contains glimpses into traditional printmaking techniques and an in depth journey into her research methods and inspirations. There will be a short Q&A after the talk along with original copper plates and hand-carved blocks available to see in person.
